The whole point of immigration is to turn Australia into a third-world country

Offshoring of jobs to developing countries with cheap labour provides significant cost savings to businesses, but many jobs and tasks are less amenable to offshoring due to their nature, which may require physical presence or face-to-face interactions.

So, (to mangle a saying) if Muhammad can't go to the mountain, the mountain must come to Muhammad. Instead of off-shoring the jobs, businesses are onshoring the cheap labour.

There's no such thing as a labour shortage. Labour is a resource and is subject to supply and demand dynamics, just like other economic resources. When businesses complain of a labour shortage, what they are really complaining about is the price of labour. If you can't get enough labour, you're not paying enough.

Immigration increases the supply of labour which makes it cheaper. It also has the added benefit of increasing consumer demand for goods and services. For businesses, this means increased income and decreased expenses, leading to higher profits. For workers, this means lower wages and increased competition for goods and services, pushing prices up. Income is decreased and expenses are increased.

This is why we are seeing record corporate profits, while workers are struggling to avoid homelessness. It's what I like to call "trickle up economics".

So, why are the unions and our Labor government enabling this? The primary objective of the Labor government isn't to improve the lives of workers. The primary objective of the Labor government is to stay in power. They can't stay in power if there is a recession and without immigration, we would now be in a recession.

Immigration also costs taxpayers $Billions each year for all the additional infrastructure needed to increase the population. Whilst billionaire property developers are making more billions selling homes to migrants, taxpayers are picking up the tab for all the transport, utilities, education, healthcare, recreational and every other form of infrastructure needed.

This cost has a major impact on the liveability of our cities. For example, north of the Sydney Harbour Bridge is the Warringah Freeway - which is a bit of a misnomer as it doesn't actually go to Warringah. Built in the 1950's, it was never completed.

The Beaches Link tunnel was finally going to link the Warringah Freeway to Sydney's Northern Beaches. However, the project has been cancelled by Chris Minns in favour of additional transport infrastructure for Sydney's growing population in the Western Suburbs.

"Parramatta's population is set to increase by 204,000, Camden by 227,000, Liverpool by 229,000 and Blacktown by 264,000 over the next two decades," Minns said.

"Meanwhile, the Northern Beaches will grow by just 31,000 and Mosman by just 1,000 people over the same period."

As mentioned above, the Federal government wants mass immigration in order to keep the country out of recession and keep the ALP in power, but most of the burden of immigration falls on the states. Why aren't the State governments complaining?

Consider this... When Minns returned to Australia from the US prior to entering politics, he was paid $5000 for moving expenses out of a donation from Chinese property developer Huang Xiangmo. A 2015 trip to Hong Kong and China was also paid for by Xiangmo. (The now exiled property developer was also behind the infamous illegal donation of $100,000 cash in an Aldi shopping bag to the NSW Labor Party). Minns also received over $10,000 in donations from people who were then reimbursed by Xiangmo in order to hide the true source of the donations. Minns also accepted a $1200 donation from property developer Bechara Khouri in 2015. When NSW opposition minister Tania Mihailuk raised corruption allegations involving Khouri, she was sacked by Minns. And this is just what has been reported in the press.

But it's not just Labor. A number of Liberal Party identities - including two of Dom Perrottet's brothers, are currently being investigated by ICAC in relation to allegations involving property developer Jean Nassif.

Immigration also has a massive impact on the environment. As population density increases, so does pollution. Air pollution kills seven million people across the world annually, mostly in developing countries.

As competition for housing increases, Australians are being urged to increase the number of people in each residence. In other words, their solution to the housing crisis is to create slums.

What our new corporate overlords are actually doing is turning Australia into a 3rd-world country so that they can enjoy all the benefits of offshoring jobs to developing countries right here at home.

And there's nothing in it for us. We've been told for decades now that immigration is somehow good for the economy, yet all we seem to have gained from it is a housing crisis, stagnating wages, congestion, overburdened government services, water shortages, inflation, high interest rates and lower productivity. To name a few.

Immigration does increase GDP, which makes the government look like they're growing the economy, but whilst GDP is increasing, real per capita GDP is decreasing. So why do we do it? Whilst the population is increasing, the number of corporations remains the same, so whilst per capita GDP is decreasing, "per corporation GDP" is increasing.

Not sure if many will get this reference, but...

"No player is greater than the game itself."
